A CBC SEARCHLIGHT nominee and one to watch for in “Top 20 under 20“, she has also recorded her own song WEAK which won a star search for BEST ORIGINAL SONG & AUDIENCE FAVOURITE.
After a heart-warming O CANADA sung to thousands, including the Mayor, MLAs and other officials attending her home town SURREY CANADA DAY event, she quickly won the audience’s hearts, finishing with Elton John’s “Bennie & The Jets” and her own original “Even Friends“.
Recently nominated for the Inaugural FRASER VALLEY MUSIC AWARDS, in the For & By Youth category, winning an opportunity to perform at Abbotsford Agrifair, Alexis is busy and yet manages to find time to continue to perform in other festivals such as ISLANDS FOLK FESTIVAL and the upcoming WHITE ROCK SEA FESTIVAL. She is currently in production with JUNO NOMINEE James Buddy Rogers. Her EP is slated for a Fall release.
Wednesday AUGUST 10th we will see her performance on the first night of the 3 day RED CARPET CONCERT SERIES that STUDIO CLOUD 30 presents, at THE VANCOUVER CLUB alongside CONNOR NELSON and special guests Rosemary Siemens and Eli Bennett.
