Chilliwack/Abbotsford/Mission –Chilliwack Transit is stepping up to help residents celebrate Canada Day safely, with additional runs on July 1 on the 2 Evans bus route, taking people to and from the festivities at Townsend Park.
Bus rides will also be free on Route 2. The extra service will mean buses on that route will run as little as 12 minutes apart between 11 a.m. and 11:15 p.m.
The rest of the system will operate on a Sunday schedule.
