Abbotsford – On Sunday afternoon (June 26, 2016 at 5:10 pm), APD Patrol Section attended a residence in the in 2200 block of Merlot Boulevard in West Abbotsford to execute a search warrant for a suspected marijuana grow operation. The residence was heavily fortified and multiple breach points were attempted before officers were able to gain entry.
A marijuana grow operation was located on the property.
A total of 1141 marijuana plants were found on site and seized. The investigation showed there was no valid marijuana grow license from Health Canada for this property.
