Ann Davis Receives Funds From Soccer Tourney

Chilliwack – On Saturday May 21st Ann Davis Transition Society was the very grateful recipient of a very generous donation from the Impact 7 Soccer Tournament Fundraiser which was organized by Sarah Oostenbrink. Patti MacAhonic stated, “On behalf of the over 3,000 clients we serve we cannot thank this group and the generous sponsors enough for choosing Ann Davis Transition Society for their charity this year!

The tournament was well attended by players and organizers with ADTS staff given a table with information on programs in the community. At the end of the day a cheque was presented to Shelley Bolan and Patti MacAhonic from ADTS in the amount of $29,500 by Sarah Oostenbrink the event organizer. Transition House Program Director, Shelley Bolan was moved to tears by the generosity when presented the cheque saying,   “This very generous donation will make a big difference for many. Even small amounts of service to people can provide big shifts and improve their lives going forward. Thank you so very much!”

Sponsors such as Southern Irrigation, Westbow, Prairie Coast, Pioneer, Klyn  Kitchens, Mardina Construction, Langley Concrete Group and others are part of Chilliwack’s generous corporate community that make a real difference in the ability of organizations such as Ann Davis Transition Society to help the most vulnerable in our community. All proceeds will be going to our children’s services and are very much appreciated.
