Chilliwack/Abbotsford -MAY 11 UPDATE from Abbotsford Police/IHIT -On Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 4:47 pm, the Abbotsford Police Department received a call of a man down in a blueberry field at Boundary and No.3 Roads, Abbotsford. Police and BC Ambulance arrived on scene and determined the man to be deceased
APD Patrol Division Officers and Major Crime Detectives are on scene. The Integrated Homicide Investigation Team (IHIT) has been contacted and will be assuming responsibility for this investigation. The identity of the male has not been determined at this time.
ORIGINAL STORY – RCMP are investigating the discovery of a body on the Chilliwack – Abbotsford border.
Emergency crews were called to Boundary and No. 2 Roads, around 7 PM Wednesday evening.
There are reports that workers in a blueberry field found a dead body.
One witness said she saw a man fitting the same description in the same area on Tuesday, who was “acting with bizarre behavior”.
