Five Year Sentence For Abbotsford Gas Station Stabbing

Abbotsford –  30-year-old Thavone Junior Carlson pleaded guilty to the lesser charge of manslaughter after a fatal stabbing at an Abbotsford gas station in 2015.

Carlson was charged with second-degree murder after 35-year-old Trevor Johnson died after a fight over an illicit drug deal.

Carlson entered his guilty plea in Chilliwack Supreme Court Friday and was sentenced to five years in prison and three years probation.
