Wild Bounce Back – Game 5 Tix Now On Sale

Wenatchee Wash. – Chase Perry made 31 saves and was named the game’s first star as the Wenatchee Wild downed the Chiefs 5-1 in game three of the BCHL’s mainland division final.

Chilliwack now leads the series two games to one.

The Chiefs opened the scoring at the 9:06 mark of the opening period on Jeremy Germain’s third goal of the playoffs but it was all Wild after that.

Daniel Nachbaur’s second of the post season tied the game at one after one.

Brendan Harris’ goal at the seven minute mark of the middle stanza put the Wild in front to stay and ended the night for Chiefs goaltender Aidan Pelino who was replaced by Matteo Esposito.

Third period goals by Charlie Combs (5), Dakota Raabe (1) put the Wild up by three before August Von Ungern finished the night’s scoring with an empty net goal with just under seven minutes left.

Final shots in the game favored the Wild 33-32.

Chilliwack was 0/2 on the power play and 4/5 on the penalty kill.

The loss means there will be a game five Thursday night at Prospera Centre in Chilliwack. Game time is 7pm. Tickets for the game can be purchase online now or at the Prospera Centre Box Office beginning at 9am Tuesday. Season ticket holders will have their seats held for them to purchase till noon on Thursday.
