Chilliwack (With files from CKNW) – IHIT, the Integrated Homicide Investigation Team has laid charges of First Degree Murder in the death of a 51-year-old Chilliwack woman.
IHIT investigators charged 19 year old Clayton Jacob Warkentin in connection with her death two months ago.
Warkentin was arrested Friday night and he will appear in Chilliwack court on Monday March 7.
Chilliwack RCMP found the woman’s body in a home in the 42000 block of Yarrow Central Road early in the morning of February 24th.
IHIT says the victim and suspect are known to each other and that it appears to be a domestic related incident.
