Fraser Valley – Where to honour soldiers this Remembrance Day.
Remembrance Day ceremonies will be held in Chilliwack on Tuesday, November 11, 2014 (10 am) at the following cenotaphs:
All Sappers Memorial Park (5571 Vedder Road) Veterans Memorial Park,
Chilliwack Museum (45820 Spadina Avenue)
Coqualeetza Longhouse (7201 Coqualeetza).
In Mission
Remembrance Parade and Ceremony starts 10:30a.m. Parade marches to Clarke Theatre (33700 Prentis Ave)
It begins at Old Windebank School on Stave Lake St at 10:15am and marches off to Clarke Theatre for 10:40am. A Service of Remembrance is at 11:00am with Last Post, silence, reveille. Following the service, wreath laying ceremony will take place at the Legion Branch #57 – 32627 Logan Avenue, Mission.
In Hope
The Ceremony starts at 10:30 a.m. at the Cenotaph in Memorial Park on Wallace Street.
In Agassiz
The Ceremony commences at 10 a.m. Agassiz ELHI auditorium (High School Auditorium) and at the Cenotaph at Morrow RD & Vimy Road. The March to the Cenotaph at 10:45 , then 2 min silence & laying of wreaths, then return to the Legion.
