Kent/Agassiz – Mountain Institution went into lockdown around 6 PM Friday evening after it was discovered that tools were missing from the workshop.
FVN has learned some of those tools were for wood carving and potentially could be used as a weapon.
The Institution will say in lockdown mode until the tools are found.
For the time being, visitations have been suspended.
Kent Institution, located next door, is not affected by this action.
Both correctional facilities are just a stones throw from Agassiz Speedway.
