Chilliwack/Vernon – The Chilliwack Chiefs are pleased to announce the acquisition of forwards Tak Anholt (1998) and Linden Hora (1996) from the Vernon Vipers in exchange for defenseman Darren Rizzolo (1998).
Anholt spent last season with the Yale Hockey Academy Prep team where, playing on a line with current Chiefs Jesse Lansdell and Kohen Olischefski, he scored 28 goals and added 36 assists in 24 games. He also appeared in five BCHL games with the Penticton Vees, registering one assist.
Hora spent last season with the Vipers, scoring once and adding three assists in 52 games.
The Chiefs Regular Season Starts Friday at Prospera against Coquitlam.
