Chilliwack, BC – Early Thursday morning (July 16, 2015 at approximately 1209am) the Chilliwack Fire Department was dispatched to a reported structure fire located in the 48000 block of Yale Road. On arrival fire crews saw smoke showing from a detached garage.
Access to the interior of the structure was difficult, however the fire was quickly brought under control and fire damage was limited to one corner of the structure.
Fire fighters responded from Halls 1, 2 and 4.
No one was hurt.
The fire is under investigation by Chilliwack Fire Department investigators.
