Chilliwack , BC – Sunday afternoon, firefighters from firehalls 1, 2, 3, 4 and 6 responded to a structure fire in the 6000 block of Blackburn Road. Upon arrival, fire crews found a fully involved, one storey workshop located on a mushroom farm property.
Firefighters established a rural type water supply system and contained the fire loss to the original workshop structure.
An excavator was brought is to assist with suppression efforts.
No one was hurt , the cause of the fire is accidental and the fire investigation is on-going.
