Chilliwack BC – You’re invited to Barber Park at 3:30 pm Friday afternoon (June 12) to join Mayor Sharon Gaetz and members of Council for an official ribbon cutting as they reopen Barber Park.
The City of Chilliwack has been in consultation with nearby residents for the last two years in order to develop an updated playground that best reflects the needs of the community while complying with current standards as outlined by the Canadian Standard Association (CSA).
“Barber Park plays a special role in the surrounding community, bringing residents together for Canada Day celebrations, children’s playdates, and much more,” said Mayor Sharon Gaetz. “Thanks to the valuable feedback from residents, we know this park will continue to meet their unique needs for years to come.”
