Agassiz, BC – Correctional Service Canada has locked down Mountain Institution, which sits next to Kent Maximum Security Institution.
On Wednesday Afternoon (May 27, 2015) a lockdown was put in place at Mountain Institution, a medium security federal institution, to enable staff members to conduct an exceptional search.
The safety and security of the institutions is the Correctional Service of Canada’s (CSC) primary concern. Normal operations will resume as soon as it is considered safe to do so.
No word if anything was found.
