2019 BC Arts, Culture Grants Available

Victoria/Fraser Valley – Grant applications are now open for arts and cultural submissions designed to bring healing to people and communities in response to environmental, social and economic hardships.

In 2018, the Community Resilience Through Arts and Culture program provides grants ranging from $2,500 to $15,000 to help fund events, programs, celebrations and initiatives that use arts and culture to foster community connection and resiliency.

Recipients in the Valley included the Chilliwack Museum, a payment of $6000 for the Classroom in Residence program.(Centering around Chilliwack and Sto:lo history).
