Fraser Valley – This wasn’t a bad year for movie shoots in the Fraser Valley.
In particular, the MOW or Movie of the Week, which are made for TV.
Hallmark Channel has been busy getting their Christmas schedule ready for the upcoming TV season (Yes it is September).
“It’s Xmas Eve”, was shot in Chilliwack back in March.
Also shot partially or completely in the Valley, “My Three Wise Men”, “A Priceless Christmas”, “Christmas Pact”, “Christmas Toy Shop”.
Data from Creative BC/BC Film Commission points to Fort Langley, Maple Ridge, Mission, Abbotsford and Chilliwack as the favorite locations for shooting.
The Valley is not the only place where Hallmark Channel loves to film, but over the past few years, Producers, Location Managers and Show Runners all know that you can find everything from mountains, to prairies, to desert landscapes, to lakes, for any shoot.
