Small Plane Crashes At Sandpiper Golf Course Near Harrison

Harrison – A small plane crashed near the Sandpiper Golf Course on Monday afternoon. The pilot walked away from the incident. Linda Marie Hughes told FVN that her husband was playing in a nearby tournament and took this photo.

Global reports that the plane was tryingĀ  to touch down at a private airstrip.

The plane crash in under investigation as to the cause of why it went down.

  1. Doesn’t look like much of a “crash” . Not very good parking, though. my flying instructor used to say ; “Every landing is just a controlled crash”. Looks like he nailed the landing just fine and then got into the weeds. Planes don’t steer well on the ground. It can be quite gusty just there.
