Happy Birthday To The Cassette

Fraser Valley – OK for those of us boomers, Music critic and historian Eric Alper took to social media to make us feel old.

Happy 55th Birthday to the Cassette! The trusty audio cassette was first introduced in August of 1963.

For those not in the know:

noun
a sealed plastic unit containing a length of audiotape, videotape, film, etc. wound on a pair of spools, for insertion into a recorder or playback device.
