Valley Huskers Coach Talks About 2018 Season (VIDEO)

Fraser Valley – The BCFC Valley Huskers start their 2018 season at home, Sunday August 5 (2PM) at Exhibition Stadium vs. the Vancouver Island Raiders.

There is optimism about this season’s crop of Huskers and hopefully that turns into wins.

That is something that has not been around the franchise for over a decade.

In fact, this is the 20th anniversary of the team and there hasn’t been this much buzz about a winning season since the early 2000’s. (Hopefully that remark doesn’t jinx anyone).

Sadly the Huskers have become the brunt of a few jokes, notably, “you go to a Huskers game to cheer on the opposition”.

That could change this year.

From the BC Football Conference YouTube Channel, Dom Abassi talks with Valley Huskers Head Coach Bob Reist, ahead of his club’s home opener against the VI Raiders.
