Electric Love Music Festival – Family Friendly Event – July 26 To 29 – Agassiz

Agassiz – Although BC has plenty of incredible music festivals that showcase every niche of the musical spectrum, a family friendly option that satisfies everyone’s tastes has always been an enigma. Over the past few years, the shutdown of Squamish and Pemberton has made finding a suitable festival for the whole family even more difficult.

Although the rise of non-camping festivals such as FVDED in the Park and Skookum have started filling the gap for this need, many families want to get away from the city and camp in a natural setting with their family members.

Electric Love Music Festival is a hidden gem located right here in the Fraser Valley that can satisfy all of these needs. Going into its fourth year and on pace to sell out, Electric Love is only an hour and a half commute from downtown Vancouver. Located in Agassiz at the picturesque Cheam Fishing Village, the festival grounds surrounded by mountains, rivers, and agricultural land.

The 2018 festival runs July 26-29 and the website info and concert schedule can be found here.

The festival features a special family camping area away from the energy and buzz of the event. During the daytime, parents can participate in fun activities at our children’s camp with the Family Coordinator. Families are also welcome to take in the many art installations, transformational workshops or spend time at some of their favourite stages dancing to the incredible array of music.

While all kids 12 and under are free, guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a guardian. The festival also has a zero tolerance policy for drugs and alcohol and proudly supports sustainability with its “leave no trace policy”.
