Hope – The latest update from Provincial authorities predicts the Fraser River at Hope will remain significantly high until at least the end of next week.
The District may still see a 2012 flooding level but it becomes less likely as every day passes.
The public should still be mindful of the potential for increased water levels and remember the banks of the Fraser River and low lying areas may become unstable due to erosion, seepage, or flooding.
The District will continue to urge the public to stay clear of the Fraser River shores and banks.
