Chilliwack Fire – UPDATE – Go Fund Me Page Set Up For Victim Of Structure Fire On Keith Wilson Road

Chilliwack – On Tuesday Afternoon (March 13,@3:30PM) fire tore through a home on the 44000 block of Keith Wilson Road.

Cars in the driveway were also on fire and a carriage home was threatened by the flames.

No one was home at the time and the house was completely gutted.

No one was hurt and the fire is considered accidental, although Chilliwack Fire will continue their investigation.

A Go Fund Me account has been set up for one of the victims who lived in the carriage house.

As most of you know, there was a devastating house fire on Keith Wilson rd yesterday afternoon. My friend Tracy lived in the carriage house on the property. The main house is a total loss and although the fire did not get as far as her suite, her stuff is totally lost due to smoke and water damage. Her car was destroyed in the fire as well.
Once she noticed the fire she had seconds to get out, which left no time to grab anything. She got out with the jammies she was wearing and her phone, that is it.
Now that the dust has settled, she faces the overwhelming task of starting over, she had just moved in a month ago.
Anything raised will go towards rebuilding her life. Rent, Clothing, food, household purchases. At this time cash donations will be the best thing as she has nowhere to live and nowhere to store anything.
I know times are tight for a lot of people right now, but anything will be appreciated. Thank you to all the people who helped as this was unfolding. Police, Fire, good samaritans, you made this a bit easier.
