Abbotsford – A security guard was stabbed, while on patrol, at Seven Oaks Mall in Abbotsford.
This happened around 8PM Monday night during regular rounds.
A woman who apparently was having mental health issues was screaming and ranting.
The guard was investigating and was stabbed once in the abdomen. Fortunately it wasn’t a serious wound and should be released from hospital later Tuesday.
The woman is described as 5’5” to 5’9”, in her 30s or 40s with long blonde hair and wearing a black hoodie and black shorts. She ran away from the area.
APD continues their investigation and search for the suspect.
