Shots Fired In Abbotsford – Countess and South Fraser Way

Abbotsford – Tuesday evening (6:20 PM), Abbotsford Police received a call about possible shots fired in the area of Countess Ave and South Fraser Way.

Moments later, Abbotsford Police received numerous calls of a motor vehicle incident [MVI] involving two vehicles at Peardonville Road and Clearborook Road.

Shortly after the MVI, two males arrived at the hospital with gunshot wounds. Investigators now believe that these victims were shot and then involved in MVI. A citizen stopped to render assistance and transported these two men to the hospital to receive medical attention. Both men remain in hospital where they are receiving treatment for their injuries.

Abbotsford Fire Rescue Service and BC Ambulance Service tended to the occupants of the second vehicle that was struck. Two occupants received minor injuries and one remains in hospital for observation.
