Don Lehn, News Director and Editor (and owner): ” Gobsmacked, honoured and humbled. A big thank you to Small Business BC just for the nomination and as well, a big shout out to Dennis Rook, Teresa Pippus and Bruce Fatkin and everyone at Community Futures for helping us get off the ground. FVN started from the demise of local radio station newsrooms in the Valley and looking at the changing landscape, we saw an opportunity.  All (legit) information is now on the new playing field of social media and we are part of that cutting edge. We are a small  business that caters our advertising to encompass all advertisers (big or small) and getting the Valley message out to the masses. There are 300,000+ people living in the Valley. We are all, a driving economic force in a rapidly changing environment.”
