Leanna Kemp – New Program Manager – Chilliwack Restorative Justice

Chilliwack, BC – Chilliwack Restorative Justice and Youth Advocacy Association’s new Program Manager is Leanna Kemp. Restorative justice is about giving all parties involved in a conflict the opportunity to take an active role in a safe and respectful process. For offenders, it is about taking responsibility and being held accountable for the harm caused. For victims, it provides an opportunity to talk about the harm caused and ask questions that may be necessary as a part of the healing process.

Leanna comes from a consulting past where she consulted with managers on a daily basis on overall operations of their business, budgets and increasing profitability through effective processes, as well as forecasting future needs of the business and talent management. She has a strong desire to help those in need and has focused on fundraising for BC Children’s Hospital and BC Cancer foundations.

While Leanna is new to Restorative Justice she is very passionate about the restorative process and what it has to offer both offenders and victims. Leanna commented “I am very excited about the new position and look forward to meeting all of you and working with you to make a difference in our community.”

If you have any questions or concerns, or would like to chat about the program, Leanna would love to hear from you. Please call her at 604-761-5919 or 604-393-3023 or email kemprestorejustice@gmail.com.
