New Horizons – Helping Those In Need On Yale Road In Chilliwack

Chilliwack, BC -You may remember a shop on Yale Road that helped low income residents with food supplies. The shop has reopened under the banner New Horizons. Charlene and Tiffany, the managers say they are taking a different approach than the previous tenants who sadly, gained a questionable reputation.

“We have a method that works!”

They are taking donations of ALL food stuffs, and that includes perishables, fruit, veggies and dairy. They do have the fridge and freezer capability.

The hours are just the same as before, to provide supplemental food stuffs to those who are in need and especially those who receive help from the Food Bank.

They are open Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM and closed Weekends and Holidays.

Their Facebook page should be up in the next couple of weeks.

  1. Hi Jim, This story is from three years ago. Yes the store has changed and now a thrift shop. As I understand, the proprietors have “disappeared”.
