Sad End To Abby Missing Persons Case

Abbotsford BC – On the afternoon of Saturday, July 11, 2015, Chilliwack RCMP located Kenneth BERGHALL deceased in a vehicle. There were no indications of foul play.

This is a very sad conclusion to the APD’s missing person investigation. We offer condolences to the family and friends of Kenneth Johan BERGHALL.

Update of June 8th, 2015:

The Kenneth BERGHALL missing person investigation is continuing. Abbotsford Police Department officers continue to speak with witnesses and explore all possible sightings. To this point there have been several reported sightings of Kenneth BERGHALL in Abbotsford. We continue to investigate each of these and we encourage anyone with information to immediately call the APD at 604-859-5225.

Investigators believe that Kenneth BERGHALL may be driving a black 2000 Ford Explorer with BC License plate 806XNR (Similar to attached photo) should this vehicle be spotted, the public is asked to contact police.

Initial Release of June 2, 2015:

On the morning of Wednesday, May 27, 2015 the Abbotsford Police Department was contacted about a possible missing person. Family reported that 51-year-old Kenneth Johan BERGHALL had not been heard from directly in several days. He had been active on social media on May 20, 2015 but otherwise family and friends had not had any recent contact with him. This is extremely unusual for BERGHALL. APD investigators checked his residence and other possible locations but have not located BERGHALL or determined his recent whereabouts. We are now asking for the public’s assistance in locating him.

Kenneth BERGHALL is a Caucasian male, 5’9” tall and weighing 188 pounds. He has brown hair and blue eyes. (See photo)
