RCMP Make Elm Drive Drug Bust

Chilliwack – RCMP seized illegal drugs and firearms during the execution of a search warrant.

On Thursday evening March 18, Chilliwack RCMP Priority Target Team (PTT) supported by front line officers executed a Controlled Drug and Substance Act (CDSA) search warrant of a residence in the 8700-block of Elm Drive. Police arrested and later released one person.

Officers seized bulk quantities of drugs believed to be fentanyl, cocaine and methamphetamine. Police also seized firearms, ammunition and paraphernalia associated to the preparation and sale of illegal drugs during the search.

The RCMP will forward following a thorough review of evidence, all circumstances of the investigation in a report to the Public Prosecution Service of Canada (PPSC) for their assessment of CDSA charges.
