New Westminster — The Pattullo Bridge will have overnight closures until December 12.
The southbound lanes heading into Surrey will be closed overnight from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m., on the nights of Monday Nov. 25 to Thursday Nov. 28. They will also be closed Dec. 2 and 3.
Northbound lanes heading to New Westminster will be closed at night on Dec. 4-5 and from Dec. 9 to 12 overnight from 10 p.m. to 5 a.m
Drivers are being asked to take the Port Mann or Alex Fraser bridges during the closures.
Night bus N19 trips will be re-routed over the Queensborough Bridge.
The closures are to support bridge user safety through the continued installation of an early seismic activity and wind warning system.
When complete, the new system will be able to block entry to the bridge in the event of a seismic or high wind event. The installation is projected to be completed by the end of this year.
