2019 Remembrance Day at Anavets #305 Chilliwack – Losing Vets Every Year (VIDEO)

Chilliwack – The number of World War 2 and Korean Conflict veterans are dwindling in the Chilliwack area. That was evident when FVN/chillTV talked to a few vets at Anavets #305. While the house band was playing Bye Bye Blackbird and other 50’s standards, the drinks while flowing, were masking some of the heart break that some of these vets saw first hand.

Remembrance Day is always tough. The number of Legionnaires have not dwindled in total numbers, but the fact that the elders are passing on, is sad. Their stories are lost.
