Mission (BC Hydro) – BC Hydro has posted a road closure for Hayward Street over Ruskin Dam from August 6 to 30.
To complete an annual safety check of a key piece of equipment at the dam, BC Hydro will need to close Hayward Street over the dam. The closure will be between Wilson Street and the Ruskin recreation and picnic site. Please plan an alternate route during this time.
Additional closure: Ruskin Picnic Site – August 7 to 16, 2019
The District of Mission has advised that they’ll also be completing some culvert upgrades on Hayward Street while we conduct our safety check. The Ruskin picnic and recreation site off of Terravista Place will be closed to accommodate this work.
