AgSafeBC Held Progressive Ag Safety Day At Sardis Elementary (VIDEO)

Sardis – On Friday, AgSafe held a Progressive Agriculture Safety Day for over 140 students at Sardis Elementary in Chilliwack. We hear about road safety and don’t talk to strangers etc, but this is the Fraser Valley and safety in agricultural situations, from farms to animals and farm vehicles has to be emphasized as well.

AgSafe, British Columbia’s agricultural workplace health and safety association promotes the importance of child safety education as part of their safety initiatives.

Bike Safety – Advantage Fleet Services
Railroad Safety – Operation Lifesaver
Water Safety – Waterwise Team and Recreation Excellence Chilliwack
Electricity Station – BC Hydro
Underground Utilities – BC One Call and Fortis BC
