Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra Presents “A Galaxy Far, Far Away” – Sunday May 26 (VIDEO)

Chilliwack – On the heels of “May the 4th Be With You”, Jedi’s and orchestra patrons should mark down Sunday, May 26 at 3PM, as the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra under the direction of Maestro Gregory Johnson will present the final concert of its 2018-2019 performance season at G.W. Graham High School Theatre.

The concert, entitled “A Galaxy Far, Far Away,” will feature some of the most memorable orchestral film scores of the 20th and early 21st centuries. As one might imagine, the program will devote ample time to“Outer Space” vehicles such as “Star Wars” and “ET.” But Planet Earth will also be represented by the fantasy of “Jurassic Park” and “The Mission,” as well as the pathos of “Shindlers List.

In short, the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra plans to send its audience away with an unforgettable musical experience, and eagerly awaiting what the CMO will have in store for 2019-2020! Tickets, $25 General and $20 Seniors and Youth, may be purchased at The Book Man, Long& McQuade-
