Pilots Down Outlaws, 41 Year Old Record Tied By Baylee Wright

Abbotsford – The month of February started off fresh as the Abbotsford Pilots (26-14-1-1) defeated the Mission City Outlaws (12-26-0-3) by a score of 4-2 on Friday night.

Three unanswered goals from Abbotsford sealed the deal in the second period. Griffin Abbott and Tristan Takats were the goal scorers for the Outlaws.

A three point night for captain Baylee Wright now sees him tied for the PJHL single season point scoring record of 121.

The win snaps a two-game losing streak for the Abbotsford Pilots, who dropped decisions on the road to Grandview (4-2 L, 01/27) and Richmond (4-3 L, 01/31).

The January Players of the Month were awarded pre-game, with Jamie Housch named Offensive Player of the Month, and Roy McClure receiving Defensive Player of the Month honours.

The next Pilots Game is Friday night in Abbotsford against the Panthers at 7:30PM.
