Chilliwack – DECEMBER 15 UPDATE – The “soft” opening for the CFB Chilliwack Military Museum happened on Saturday, although PR contact Rachel Doucette took to Facebook to announce that the official Grand Opening will be in January .
Soft opening was great! Had at least 20 people walk in to check it out, got 4 people wanting to bring items to donate from family military, and two signed up for newsletter and possible membership interest.”
DECEMBER 2 ORIGINAL STORY – Those who ventured out into a perfect evening for Saturdays Chilliwack Rotary Christmas Parade, found a hidden gem. The CFB Chilliwack Historical Society opened their doors on Wellington Avenue in Downtown Chilliwack.
They were offered a sneak-peek with some hot chocolate and a warming up before and during the parade.
