The proposed service changes will help address core transit issues in Abbotsford including matching routing to ridership, and improving schedule reliability. Over the past ten years, travel times for buses in Abbotsford have increased significantly due to an increase in population, passengers, congestion, and rail traffic. Since 2008 the number of passengers on Abbotsford’s road has increased by 23 per cent, growing to 2.37 million passenger rides per year.
If you are unable to attend in person may choose to offer feedback through an online survey available at bctransit.com/central-fraser-valley. The survey will be open until December 11.
