Chilliwack Hosting 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship Pre-Tournament Game – Dec 22

Chilliwack –  – The IIHF World Junior Championship is returning to British Columbia for the first time in 13 years, and Chilliwack will host a pre-tournament game as part of the Lordco Road to the World Juniors.
On December 22, Sweden and Denmark will face-off at the Prospera Centre (6PM) as part of their preparations for the 2019 IIHF World Junior Championship, which runs December 26 to January 5 in Vancouver and Victoria.
Sweden has twice won gold at the IIHF World Junior Championship, last standing atop the podium at the 2012 World Juniors in Calgary and Edmonton. Denmark is in the Top Division for the fifth year in a row; its highest finish ever was fifth at the 2017 tournament in Toronto and Montreal.
Fans can purchase tickets at the Prospera Centre box office, or by visiting HockeyCanada.ca/Tickets.
All tickets are $23 inclusive of taxes and service charges.
