Supreme Tattoos – Chilliwack Alano Club Fundraiser – Brought In $250

Chilliwack -NOVEMBER 6 UPDATE – On Sunday October 28, Supreme Tattoos held a fundraiser for the Chilliwack Alano Club, featuring  belly button piercings (Two pieces of jewellery to choose from) and all proceeds went to the Alano Club. A total of $250 was raised.

The Chilliwack Alano Club, while a non-profit, does not receive the same funding as Ruth and Naiomi’s, Cyrus Centre or the Salvation Army. The 36 year old club/society is a clean and sober meeting place for AA, CODA, Alanon and a family oriented safe place to meet and hang out. Over 25% of its clientele are 55 and over.

The Alano Club graciously thanks Frank, Glenn, Sarah and the crew at Supreme Tattoos for opening on a Sunday and taking to social media to put out the word that the Alano Club needs lots of help and TLC.

OCTOBER 27 ORIGINAL STORY –  Just off Five Corners in Chilliwack is a very cool tattoo shop. The crew of artists that run the show, Frank Supreme, Glenn Garnis, and Sarah Anna (there are a few others as well, including Cody Robinson) haven’t been at the new location very long although they have been part of the Chilliwack business landscape for quite some time. One thing they pride themselves for, is that they want to give back to the community.

So, Supreme Tattoos is having a fundraiser for the Alano Club.

Owner Frank Supreme: “The Alano Club are our neighbours and we’ve been wanting to do a fundraiser for them, for a while.”

On Sunday October 28, they will be doing belly button piercings (Two pieces of jewellery to choose from) and all proceeds will go to the Alano Club. Minimum donation is $10.

The fact that is not lost on the soon-to-be-built Paramount Project. That is the new downtown seniors housing complex that hopes to resurrect the old Paramount Theatre sign.

The Alano Club, and Supreme Tattoos are literally across the street from the major downtown revitalization that is about to encompass the aging stretch of Yale Road in Downtown Chilliwack and through Algra Brothers, CEPCO and the City, and breathe new life into the old Downtown core.

You may have heard about the Five Corners location of Supreme Tattoos earlier this year, when they commissioned artists to create a mural at the back of the store. That can be seen below the video.
