RCMP, Coroner Confirm Remains Found Was Laura Clark – Went Missing In July

Agassiz/Chilliwack -AUGUST 15 UPDATE – The RCMP and BC Coroner have confirmed that remains found in the Fraser River on July 25 were that of 23 year old Laura Clark of Chilliwack.

Investigators are now trying to retrace her days before her death and are asking for the public’s help.

It is believed that Ms. Clark was last seen walking near the Agassiz Bridge on the evening of July 15, 2018.
 
“As part of our investigation police are looking to retrace Ms. Clark’s steps leading up to her disappearance,” says Corporal Mike Rail spokesperson for the UFVRD. “Investigators are interested in speaking to anyone who may have seen her from July 15 – 25.”
 
Ms. Clark is described as being 173 centimeters (5 feet 8 inches) tall, approximately 64 kilograms (141 pounds) with blue eyes and blond hair often tied in a ponytail. At the time of her disappearance, she was wearing a bright pink shirt and black shorts.

Laurais a Chilliwack resident:

– 23 year old Caucasian female,
– 5 feet 8 inches tall,
– approximately 141 pounds,
– slender,
– blue eyes,
– long blond hair (often tied in a ponytail), and
– last seen wearing a bright pink shirt and black shorts.
