Chilliwack – As the walls are now closing in around the new Molson Coors plant in Chilliwack, locking in the huge brew and fermenting tanks, the plant is moving to the next phase. (The brew tanks were barged up the Fraser River and trucked into place back in May)

The new brewery have currently posted two staff positions with more on the way. FVN recently spoke with “Ryan”, an electrician working on construction of the plant. He is ecstatic to be working there and “hoping it turns into something long term. At least it looks great on the resume.”
The $300M facility is expected to generate over 1000 jobs during the entire construction period and will employ between 75 and 150 employees when the brewery begins production sometime in early 2019.
