Surrey – The 2018 Surrey Cares Serving with Distinction Awards were held Tuesday evening at the Sheraton Guilford to a packed ballroom.
FVN Fraser Valley News Editor/News Director Don Lehn was Emcee along with a host of entertainers including Saxophonist Paul Choisil who shared his incredible brand of jazz. Born in Haiti, Paul attended the Conservatory of Music. As his interest in popular music expanded, he became involved with local groups playing Caribbean, Latin and Brazilian music. Once Paul arrived in North America, he found himself willfully influenced by Jazz.
