Abbotsford -NOVEMBER 1 UPDATE – As the result of investigation by the Major Crime Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department, two people have now been charged with Aggravated Assault and Forcible Confinement.
They are 26-year-old William Andrew Buwalda and 22-year-old Chelsea Rhian Vince. APD investigators believe it was Buwalda who called 911 on Thursday October 12, reporting that he and Vince located an injured female near the roadside and brought her to their home.
ORIGINAL STORY October 13 – On Thursday night (October 12, @9:25PM) Abbotsford Police responded to a report of a women assaulted on the 4200 block of Gladwin Road.
A 46 year old women was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Neighbours say the victim was found in a ditch, partially clothed and with a broken jaw.
Three suspects have been taken into custody, two men and one woman.They were found near the incident site.
