Chilliwack -June 15 UPDATE – Back on May 28, The Chilliwack metropolitan Orchestra had their “Night In Veinna” concert and with that, a chance to conduct the CMO.
So what did that sound like?
CMO and guest conductor Ged Dodsworth in concert (It went over very well with the audience):
APRIL 2 ORIGINAL STORY – “da da da dummmmm da da da dummmmmm” – Bad humming to a certain Beethoven melody.
In all seriousness, we have all taken knitting needles or pens and such and conducted an air orchestra in our lifetime.
Don’t deny it, we have all done it.
Now, here is your chance to do that for real ! With the Canada 150 events starting to come together, the Chilliwack Metropolitan Orchestra wants to give you a chance to live out your dream and conduct the Met.
OK, it’s JUST “Oh Canada”, but you will be able to boast that you conducted an orchestra, FOR REAL !
