Abbotsford Police – Targeted Walsh Avenue Shooting – Related To Townline Hill Conflict

Abbotsford -DECEMBER 17 UPDATE – Abby Police have noted that evidence gathered Friday night indicates that a vehicle and its occupants were targeted at the shooting incident on Walsh Avenue.

The same vehicle arrived at the hospital and two of the occupants had gun shots wounds.

One of the males was treated for his injuries and released from the hospital last night, the second male remains in hospital in stable condition with serious injuries.

This was a targeted shooting at those involved in the Towline Hill Conflict.

ORIGINAL STORY DECEMBER 16 – On Friday evening (7:54 pm) Abbotsford Police received a call about possible shots fired in the 33200 block of Walsh Avenue at Ware Road (Bavaria Restaurant). Upon arrival, APD Patrol Officers were unable to locate a victim, however, an area search was conducted and evidence located to confirm a shooting had occurred.

Shortly after that, two men arrived at hospital with gunshot wounds. The two men remain in hospital where they are receiving treatment for their injuries. The Major Crime Unit of the Abbotsford Police Department has assumed this investigation.
