  • Fraser Valley – east including Chilliwack
  • Fraser Valley – west including Abbotsford

Snowfall with total amounts of 20 to 30 cm expected this weekend.

Communities in western sections of the Fraser Valley can expect higher amounts. As well, a there is a risk of freezing rain for western sections of the Fraser Valley tonight and Sunday morning.

The precipitation is expected to ease towards the latter part of Sunday followed by a ridge of high pressure bringing drier conditions and colder temperatures next week.

Be prepared to adjust your driving with changing road conditions. Rapidly accumulating snow could make travel difficult over some locations. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
