Public Transit Forum – Connecting Hope To The Valley

Hope/Chilliwack/Agassiz-Harrison – Join in building a better Transit Future for Hope! BC Transit is hosting a public engagement process that will include both online and in-person opportunities to participate.

This is your chance to provide input on a proposed new transit service to and from Hope.

Show up on Thursday, November 24 or Friday, November 25 to have your say in-person.

Representatives from BC Transit, the Fraser Valley Regional District and the District of Hope will be on hand to hear your ideas on how to best improve transit service for your neighbourhood and the region.

Thursday, November 24
District of Hope, District Hall, 325 Wallace Street

5:00 PM – 7:00 PM

Friday, November 25

Hope and District Recreation Centre, 1005 6th Ave

8:30 AM – 10:30 AM

Save-on-Foods, 559 Old Hope-Princeton Hwy

Noon – 3:00 PM

Residents of Hope, Agassiz-Harrison, Chilliwack and the surrounding area can also provide feedback through an online survey that can be accessed here. The survey will be online until Friday, December 2, 2016.

This new round of consultation builds on previous public feedback collected for the 2012/2013 Transit Future Plan, and will be used to help put the plan into action in 2017.
