Man Dies, Walking Along Highway One In Abbotsford

Abbotsford –  The great question is why was a man walking on the Trans-Canada Highway in the wee hours of the morning.

Early Monday morning (November 14, 2016 @ 3:30 a.m.) Abby Police received a report that a man walking across the Trans-Canada Highway, east of McCallum Road in Abbotsford, had been struck by a westbound motor vehicle.  Officers from Abbotsford Police Department and BC Ambulance quickly arrived to the scene where police located a 47 year old man who had succumbed to his injuries.

RCMP are asking anyone who may have witnessed this collision to contact Constable B. Trotzuk at RCMP Fraser Valley Traffic Services 604-702-4039.
