Old Car Sunday To Return To Mission In 2017

Mission – The District of Mission Parks, Recreation & Culture department is putting together a team to make sure Old Car Sunday keeps rolling.

The District of Mission Parks, Recreation & Culture Department is committed to making sure Old Car Sunday continues as one of Mission’s best community events.

After 25 years, the organizing committee deserves a break and the District is honoured to be able to step up. The Warren’s have agreed to help as consultants for the 2017 transition year. Together we will explore new options and old favourites to create a day that appeals to as broad a cross section of the community as possible.

The District has a special place in the history of auto racing in the valley and we recognize that cars, trucks, motorcycles and soapbox racers are an integral part of Mission’s unique history.

The District is currently connecting with the many car clubs in the Valley who have participated and will be putting a new organizing committee together to make sure that the 2017 Father’s Day lives up to the standards of the organizers whose tracks we follow.

Mark Father’s Day 2017 in your calendar for the 26th annual Old Car Sunday event in Mission.
